Jahara Treatment Centre offers an aftercare halfway house facility located on a separate property just a few 100 meters away from our main primary care facility. Residents who choose to go to Jahara Halfway House are able to manage the reintegration part of their recovery back into society under the care and guidance of Jahara Treatment Centre.

While staying at the Halfway House residents are encouraged and supported to take up some form of studies or to find employment in line with their life-plan that was developed as part of their Primary Care Treatment Programme.

Residents can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of living in the bush in a luxury tented camp with all available facilities while still pursuing a normal life of responsibility away from the hustle and bustle of big city life.

The halfway house creates a perfect opportunity for residents to continue developing their new identities as part of a larger society.

Addiction Halfway House

Although halfway house is not always recommended for all residents it is a wonderful facility to allow individuals to completely start a new life. The halfway house enables residents to continue their journey within the support of the community that they have become apart of.

It is an excellent way to slowly reintegrate into society and increases the successful outcomes of long term recovery. Having the ongoing support of the professionals who have been part of your recovery journey means that you have the same team guiding you through this essential part of your journey.

If you think a new life, in a new area, with new opportunities is what you need then going into halfway house will provide just that. As part of the halfway house fees residents continue to receive all meals, weekly counselling sessions, weekly group sessions, access to church, bible studies and possible work opportunities.

The halfway house facility has been described as paradise - the feeling of being away in the quiet bush while still enjoying a normal life and being responsible. Halfway house residents will have access to laptops and phones and vehicles as needed to support their reintegration.
